- On June 30, 2017
Tony Draper, the Managing Director of Midland Telecom, is attending the fifth edition of the Prudential Ride London this July to raise money for Tommy’s Charity.
Starting at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the event follows closed routes through London and into the picturesque Surrey Countryside before finishing in style at the historic Royal Mall in Central London.
The Prudential RideLondon provides a fantastic platform to encourage people to cycle more safely and more often.
Over the next five years, more will be invested than ever before to create more safe, easy and well-connected cycle routes across the Capital The programme includes new cycling infrastructure (including a network of Cycle Superhighways and Quietways), Cycle Hire, investment in cycle parking, community projects and events. TfL works with schools and businesses and delivers cycling training, free to anyone living, working or studying in London in partnership with London’s boroughs.
Tony Draper said “I am glad to take part of this challenge. My aim is to raise £500 for Tommy’s funding research and spend an exciting day with thousands of people who share with me the same passion for cycling”
