What would happen if you lost your communications, telephone lines, email, internet?

Introduction

There are many reasons why phones systems and internet communications fail, electricity cuts, hardware failure, network problems, line faults, extreme weather, lightening and the list goes on..... One thing is certain, it has a major effect on your business. You use your telephone system and internet connection to stay in contact with employees, suppliers and more importantly with customers! When you lose contact you lose control, lose business and potentially lose customers.

In ever more competitive markets and during the current tough economic climate it is essential that you get back up and running as quickly as possible. What would be the cost of losing your office telephone systems or internet connection, for a few hours? A day? Or even longer?

Midland Networks have developed a disaster recovery system, so that in the event of line or hardware failure your telephones will automatically log on to our network and enable you to make and receive calls while we get you back up and running. You can select how many IP phone systems or VOIP phone systems connect to us and in what locations. We offer the same service for your internet and email to .

Site License

The site license includes everything you need to get you connected to our services. It also includes 5 telephony disaster handset licenses, meaning in the event of system or telephone line failure 5 handsets that you have pre-selected will log on to our network and allow you to make and receive telephone calls, until we can get you back up and running fully again. If you wish to have services on multiple sites you will need to add a license per site. This license also entitles you to add any additional handsets or other services you require.

Adding Additional Handsets

The site license includes 5 handsets, if you require further handsets backed up for security, health and safety or convenience reasons you can add as many as your need for a small increase in cost.

Adding Email & Web Service

If your email and internet access is just as important as your telephone system, you may wish to have a disaster recovery service for that to. It ensures that if your main internet connection goes down, you can simply switch across to our service and be back up and running in minutes.



Dedicated Link

As an additional fail safe, instead of using your current internet connection, Midland Networks will install a dedicated link direct to our network - offering the highest level of resilience

The Works - Discounted Package

This Package includes a Site License with 5 handsets, a dedicated link and email & web disaster recovery. You can add additional handsets to this package as normal.

Power Failure

If you have a power failure in your building you will obviously lose all electronic equipment. We can supply a UPS back up system for your Power over Ethernet switch and routing Equipment to ensure you can still make and receive calls and keep your business alive.

Set-Up

After you have decided which services you require an engineer will visit your site to set everything up. This includes programming your systems, installing any new equipment and testing everything for you. Once this is done, everything is set and then you are on our network.
